The “SH” designation means Short Head configuration, which gives you a steeper toggle angle and a tighter parallel zone compared to standard head setups. This translates to a finer product gradation — useful if you’re producing aggregate for asphalt or making manufactured sand. The F/M/C suffix tells you which cavity profile is cast into this specific mantle. Fine is for small feed and tight CSS, Medium handles the most common secondary crushing work, and Coarse is when your feed is on the larger side.
One thing worth knowing: the HP200 shares the same frame and head assembly geometry as the HP300. The difference is in the motor power and the bore size of the liners. So while 1050130815 is specific to the HP200, the casting process and quality control standards are identical across the HP series.

Material & Features
We cast in three standard manganese steel grades:
- Mn13Cr2 (13% manganese, 2% chromium): The default choice for most applications. Good work-hardening characteristics, reasonable cost, and handles anything from limestone to medium-hard granite without complaint.
- Mn18Cr2 (18% manganese, 2% chromium): For harder, more abrasive rock. The extra manganese gives deeper work-hardening under impact, which means the surface gets harder as it works. We had a customer in Western Australia running HP200s on basalt — they switched from Mn13 to Mn18Cr2 and got roughly 35% longer mantle life. On hard rock, that difference adds up fast.
- Custom alloys: If you’re dealing with something unusual — highly abrasive material, extreme temperatures, or a specific wear pattern that standard manganese isn’t solving — we can develop a tailored alloy. It takes a bit of lead time but the payoff can be significant.
All our mantles are cast in resin sand molds with CNC-machined mating surfaces. The dimensional accuracy is held to OEM spec — we check every batch with CMM equipment. The part you get should drop onto your head assembly without any filing or forcing. If it doesn’t fit right, that’s on us, not you.
