IMPACT Plate

In an impact crusher, the impact plate is a crucial wear component strategically positioned to receive the high-velocity impact of material thrown by the rapidly rotating blow bars (hammers) on the rotor. Its primary function is to provide a rigid surface against which the material is crushed, further breaking it down into smaller sizes through impact forces. The impact plate also plays a role in redirecting the material back into the crushing chamber for secondary crushing by the blow bars, ultimately contributing to the overall reduction ratio and the shape of the final product.
